All services are going offline from a few hours to a day to move all of my gear into a server rack and install a ups (battery backup)
The longest task will be case swapping au-prox-01 (what most game servers and jellyfin run on) so it can be properly racked.
These changes will
- Make organization of my gear and adding new nodes significantly easier.
- Keep everything online during 1-2 hour long power outages, if any last longer than that everything will be properly shutdown.
- Prevent sudden shutdowns from power trips or outages which can lead to data corruption or hardware damage.
I'm unable to temporarily migrate any services to another computer as my core router is also being moved.
Once everything's back up you'll be able to connect to everything just like before from the same addresses and urls.
